COOK RICE WITH COCONUT OIL TO BURN FAT AND ABSORB HALF THE CALORIES
USDA statistics show that Americans eat double calories than needed on a daily basis, or about 500 calories more, which is a lot.Sudhair James from the College of Chemical Sciences in Sri Lanka, create a new method of cooking rice, which is supposed to reduce the absorption of calories by 50-60%, which he demonstrated at the National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society (ACS).He handled to make the rice a resistant starch, able to resist sugar or starch absorption from going into the bloodstream.Rice and also some other starches, are very digestible and their conversion to sugar in the blood is very quickly.Bigger part of the starch is saved in the form of glycogen in liver and muscles, while the extra glucose is saved as fat which will lead to obesity and other various health problems. But,if the starch is strong it won’t be digested in the small intestines, but it will turn to food for the huge intestines’ good microbes. In this way, the risk of remaining excess glucose in the blood will be lowered, and the colon cells will be healthier.Resistant starch is also ideal for natural fat-burning and healthy elimination.
Preparation: Melt 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in hot water, stir well, and put half cup of rice. Then boil until the rice is nicely cooked. For about 40 minutes or according to researches about 20-25 minutes.Put the mixture in the fridge and let it stay for 12 hours.
